Dilip Choudhuri is President & CEO of Walter P Moore, an innovative engineering consulting firm headquartered in Houston. Over the past decade as CEO, Dilip has strengthened the firm’s revenue while strategically guiding the firm’s growth and expansion across seven countries and 26 U.S. cities. His visionary leadership has transformed the firm into a digital-first, technology-enabled firm, enhancing client service and project delivery.

As a licensed professional engineer in Texas and California, Dilip has over 35 years of experience in structural restoration and forensic engineering. His career at Walter P Moore spans 25 years of which he’s spent 10 years as President & CEO.

Dilip is deeply committed to community service and encourages the same ethos among Walter P Moore employees. He currently serves as an Executive Committee Member and Past Board Chair (2023-2024) for Central Houston. He is also on the Executive Committee for Design Professionals Coalition (DPC), and an Advisory Board Member for the Design Futures Council and the University of Houston’s Bauer School of Business. Additionally, he is a member of the Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT). He is recognized as a Structural Engineering Institute Fellow for the American Society of Civil Engineers and a Senior Fellow for the Design Futures Council.

Dilip holds a Master of Science in both Structural Engineering and Engineering Management from State University of New York. Dilip is forward-thinking, hardworking, and passionate about creating a resilient, sustainable and enjoyable world.
